I came up the other day while sitting on a sunny british beach (in the few weeks of sun we had) I noticed that every other sunbather was reading. So why don’t WH Smiths sell books on the breaches, how cool would that be, then just before i posted this news was talking about how this summer is gonna be a wash out and that kinda scuppers it but anyway it would be kinda cool when its sunny, so why not take it to the rest of the world and we can sit in rainy England and be wet!!

Why is it the graphics or polling stations never change and it is the same around a lot of the world?

When i see them i think of the 80′s, imagine you were the person who did the first though, you would be well chuffed. maybe a way of encouraging young people to vote is make it a more vibrant process rather than a bland experience.

Now this is an advert that has captued the nation, because it is so awrfull everyone hates it, even on her website her fans think it is awfull, if she wanted publisity all she needed to do was drink or flash her pants at the pap’s.

Anyway this must be a massive embarecement to mother who made it, put out of this terrible add there is one posotive, the piss takes, here are a few.

first week at the creative orcestra

Last week i went to the creative orchestra all week, it was a fun and exciting place to work, even if it is just starting up and still has to find its feet a little bit. I am looking forward to going back in the Easter break. This friday they will be on the circle line doing a creative surgery for clients or agencies which will be fantastic. It is about time the creative’s got the power in the advertising world and this is the way to do it. And many thanks to Chris and Victoria for setting it up.

Now i am working on the ford brief for D&AD witch is to create a youtube brand channel for the ford eco-netic range of cars. now we have an idea which we have come up with, but i thought i would look on youtube to see what else was going on in the car industry sector, i could not find anything worth looking at, there are a few boring advertising vids about a few cars, stuff from motor shows, and there ad\’s even the fiat eco-drive which is probably the best online presence of and car manufacturer, does not have a decent youtube presents, that i can find. So either they all have completely missed the boat or i just don\’t know, but my idea for the ford eco-netic range will hopefully work. I must say that advertisers in general seem to have missed the opportunity within youtube, but there are a few good things out there. The only intersesting suff on cars is either from TV (top gear etc), or entirely random (like crashes etc., why can no car manufacture manage to get onto the first page of vids when i put in car in a search. RUBBISH

Me and hannah went to an interview at the creative orcestra last week, it is a creative talent pool which Criss Arnold is starting up, we had a good book crit, they were very interested in lots of our ideas. Abyway we have been excepted and will be going in easter!!! I cannot wait, it is a real buss to get noticed by people in industory. I will let you know more on monday as we will be going in for the first day to see what is going on!!

This is the single most stupid thing i have ever seen, doing your ironing in extreme locations is weird but it has developed a following on youtube, they claim it is about ‘the thrill of doing extreme sport with the satisfaction of a well pressed shirt’. Sounds good but that is rubbish, it is about doing something entirely random just for the hell of it in a random kind of humor. No one could predict that these mad Englishmen would spread the madness over to Japan, Australia and of course the madness of the Germans are getting a look in to. There is now also a world championship. I think that they think it is all a big joke, that is funny because they are serious about the most pointless thing in the world.

Now how does this relate of advertising, if this is what people are doing on the internet then what do I do to try to advertise, they just like random stuff, hopefully I will get it right sometime but for now I will have to shoot in the dark like most of the advertisers out there.
